Toto the parrot loves to fly.
He’d stand on his toes and make for the sky.
He’d squack and talk, all day long,
But he makes quite a tantrum of his song.
So, sister said, “Enough talking, learn to read.
Let me teach you, ABC.”
They repeated the letters a number of times:
A for alligator, and a bird who chimes.
“See how smart your sister is, a bird to smarten.”
“I just hope she doesn’t send him to birdergarten.”
I have read your beautiful poem Toto the noisy parrot
